To Cutler Bend

Big boy checks his pip boy and sees that Evelyn and Nora must have entered in some local landmarks. Based on that information he decides the quickest way to get to the old GNN plaza is to head north east and make his crossing at Cutler Bend, an adhoc bridge formed by junk stuck in the Charles river. He figures it will be unguarded as it is a dangerous place known for its shifting debris and Mirelurk nests.

As Big boy walks along he fiddles with his radio, turning the knob, flicking through static air. Every time he hears a voice he'll stop the dial and listen. Most of what he hears are old government broadcasts telling people to shelter in place. Occasionally he'll flick on to some wack job with a short wave rambling about aliens or broadcasts of old world music and serial programs. Eventually he stumbles across something that peaks his interest.

"Women of the Commonwealth this is the Iron Maiden coming at you live from the heart of our movement. The age of man ended with the atomic bomb and now it is our time to rise up and show the world that WE, can do it better.

Men's fragile egos and hot tempers, so typical of their sex, ended the world they built over some narrow minded dick measuring contest where they thought the guy with biggest gun should get all the oil. A mindset that persisted even after they blew up the old world order. How many times have we seen good women beaten, killed, or **** all because they tried to check some man's power or got caught in middle of their war games?

While sisters now it's time to show them the error of their ways. Since they can't learn to share, we won't ask for permission. If they insist that might makes right then we will take what we want and eradicate anyone who stands in our way. That includes you foolish girls who continue to empathize with the destroyers. We are coming to free you from your delusions, whether you like it or not, because the world won't survive if men are left to run amock. We are Misandry and we're saving the world one bullet at a time."

Clearly this was who he was looking for and the fact that this little doodad could pick up on that broadcast meant he was getting close. However, something about that message felt familiar to him. He shook the feeling off and set his mind to the task at hand. That woman on the radio wronged him. She hurt his brother and stole his women and he was going to get them back.

Just as Big boy manged to clear his head he realizes he hears the sound of moving water. A few more steps and he sees it the rusted collection of tires, boats, and barrels some generously call a bridge. He has arrived at Cutler Bend.
