You felt... so stupid, just a few months ago you'd have given everything to spend even a minute with Adriana and now that she was right next to me you were loosing my time with hypothetical scenarios of terrorism, instead of focusing on her... What a loser, damn it!

You say "You're right of course, but you left out the best part: I can stay with you all day!"

She says "Exactly eheh... that's why I'd like very much that you decide to continue the bodyguard work after these days. I know, I know: I'm being selfish, sorry. You have to find a job you like and not this one only because you could spend more time with me, I'm acting just like an egoist, but..."

You reply "Yes"

Adriana questions "Yes... what?"

You answer "Yes, I accept the job, love. For as long as you want me around, I'll be there for you."

Adriana says "You don't have to say it just to make me happy! This is a serious thing, you have to think about it very well"

You reply "I don't have much to think really: this work is the way I'll spend the most time with you, since you are travelling so much. Second, I won't get crazy because of paranoia for not being there with you, and believe me I got really near that point these past weeks alone already... Third, I can carry a gun everytime and everywhere, and I have to train for the job so it implies a lot of range practice when possible. So be with my girl and guns, it's my dream career!"

The smile she had in that moment was meaning you just made her the happiest you could, and she covered your face in kisses like there was no tomorrow.
