Time for bed--no

On the way home, Eliza offered Matt a job as yardboy, including the use of the bedroom next to hers... she and her husband slept in separate bedrooms.

The offer was tempting but it felt like abandoning his mother and sister so he turned it down.

"Too bad," Eliza said. "The pay isn't great but the benefits are out of this world."

"Oh, mother," Amy protested. "He's my boyfriend, remember. You just get to help train him."

"He's only your boyfriend if you can keep him," Eliza fired back. "I may be older than you but I've learned some tricks to keep any male panting."

Matt noticed Amy had to bite her tongue to keep from blurting out the obvious question about why her dad wasn't panting. She managed, though.

When they got home, Matt, Karen and their mom found their respective beds. "Do you really think this crazy cam idea is going to work?" Karen asked before she headed for her bed.

"I sure as hell hope so. Because if it doesn't that yardboy thing is the only offer I have on the table.
