Time Stop

"TIME STOP" Time-Girl yelled as the serpent closed in on her. As time stopped around her, Time Girl swam as fast as she could. the stoppage timed out as soon as she made it to shore. The Serpent was right on her again and she scrambled on to the bank as the serpent slammed onto it. Unable to give chase on dry land, the serpent retreated into the water.

Time-Girl collapased on the beach. That was a close call. Now all she had to do was find a safe place to hold up until the TDD was ready for the next jump. She took refuge in a tree and 30 mins later, the TDD beeped letting her know it was ready. She actived the jump function and fell back into the time stream.
