Tia's fate

Tia Cameron had little idea that her life was about to change. She was attending college, studying Poly Sci and was a sophomore. She volunteered at the hospital to get the chance to help people.

Her job was pretty easy, she was working on the intensive care level, helping the nurses with some simple tasks that needed doing. Her day was going well, she was happy to be at work. Things were pretty quiet at the moment.

One of her favorite nurses walked out of a patient's room looking confused. The nurse was walking strangely, with a somewhat exaggerated sway.

With her effervescent personality, she walked up to Jessica and asked how her day was going. The young nurse frowned a bit and said her patient was acting somewhat strangely. Tia noticed there was some substance on the nurses lower lip.

“It’s Mr. Hamilton, he’s a strange case,” the nurse said.

“Is there anything I can do to help?” Tia asked helpfully, although she knew the answer. Volunteers were not allowed to do any real medical work, just simple tasks.

“Ummmm, no, I don’t think so,” the nurse responded somewhat confused. She clearly didn’t notice the white substance on her lips.

Tia took out a napkin and handed it to the nurse, saying “You have something on your lips,”

“Oh thanks, missed some of his...ummm, drink,” the nurse said, wiping the remainder of his spunk from her lips.

Tia didn’t understand that, her curiosity peaked she made a point to see what the deal was with Mr. Hamilton. After leaving the nurse, she hovered around the room. The door was closed so she couldn't see anything.

Looking around carefully, she opened the door just a slight amount to see who was inside.

William noticed the door open slightly, “Please come in,” he ordered. The volunteer immediately opened the door, walked in and closed the door immediately.

“I’m not supposed to be here,” she said quickly.
