Thursday with Mike

After your day at work, you decide to text Mike.

'hey dude you doing anything today?'

'no whys that?'

'wanna hang out for drinks? I'm free tonight'

'Oh so your not whipped?'

'That took you one more text than I expected lol'

'...'

'Plus its not whipped if you're getting something out of it ;)'

'LOL Okay well I'm free tonight'

'Cool I think its your turn to buy'

'-_- 7 good for you?'

'sure see u then'

When the time comes, you head over to Rudy's Bar, where you find Mike.

"Hey man."

"Hey."

Mike orders you a drink as you near the bar. Once you're there, Mike says "So what's up?"

"Not much. Any of the other guys coming around?"

"Nah just you and me. Burnie's got family over, and Eddie's... I dunno, playing video games or jerking off or something."

"Yeah probably."

"So how's Adela?"

"Alright. Just some family drama."

"Ah okay. Fair enough. Where is she now?"

"Work stuff."

Mike shrugs. "So, how about a game of pool?"

You know you're no match for Mike's practiced pool game, but you indulge him all the same. As he dominates you, he talks about forming a new band called 'Epstein's Noose' and invites you to their first concert that's coming up this weekend. You give him a maybe, before talking about work antics. Soon enough, you decide to call it a night. Back home, you get ready for another day at work, and hopefully another day with Adela.
