Throw him out....this is going to far!

"I...I can't..." you manage to say breathlessly. Chad stops and looks at you, bewildered.

"What do you mean?" he asks.

"This is too fast...I...I'm sorry," you say quickly. You put on your shirt and get up. "Please go."

"I don't understand. I thought..." Chad begins.

"I know, but I'm sorry. I just can't. It's too soon." you say, without looking at him.

"Fine," Chad says curtly. "Have a good evening."

"You, too," you say softly as he walks out quickly. You watch him head upstair and hear a door slam soon after. Maybe you should have let him stay just a little longer....
