Chapter 16 by Jappio Jappio

Which way do they go?

Through Backyards

Kelsey decides that the backyards should be the safest route. She really didn’t want anyone seeing her after all. “I think we should stick to the backyards.

Kate nodded her head, and the two began to look to their right, down the row of houses they’d have to travel. “We have to go about 4 houses, and then we have to cross the street, since there is a fence and I live on the other side of the road,” Kate explained. “I don’t really remember who is home and who is not. If we’re careful, we should be fine though.”

Kelsey nodded her head again. Kelsey would have loved to think through more, but Kate was already starting to stand up a bit more and started to dash towards another set of bushes.

Kelsey decided to trust Kate. Kate seemed to know what she was doing, and Kelsey really didn’t want to raise her voice to ask Kate to stop.

In little time Kate and Kelsey were in the middle of some stranger’s backyard. Kelsey quickly looked at all the windows of the house, and saw no signs of anyone being there. The two made it to the second house. This time Kate slowed down more, probably to take a good look in the windows. Kelsey took the chance to adjust her towel, making sure it was still hiding her upper half. She quickly looked around, to make sure no one had noticed her bouncing bottom cased in the blue cotton. She wanted to stop and take a break, but before she could ask, Kate was having them run off again.

Kate was being quite confident, and Kelsey wasn’t able to ask to slow down. This leads to...

How does this go for them?
