This is a nice secluded spot...

"Hey, is it much further?" You ask as you walk into a bit of a clearing, still hand in hand. Olivia turns to face you, and you step closer, feeling the heat radiating from her body.

"Well, we're about half way along the short-cut, so not much longer now" Olivia doesn't seem to respond to you standing so close to her.

Feeling your heart rate soar, you take a deep breath, wrap an arm around her and pull her close for a kiss.

It doesn't go as you thought it would.

Olivia gives you a gentle puh, but it's enough for you to take a step back and send you sprawling over a tree root.

"We're on our first date!" Olivia says, "I'd like to get to know you a bit better before we explore the physical side of things."

She doesn't seem particularly angry, just a little upset. At least she doesn't abandon you and run off into the bushes.

Things are now rather awkward, Olivia leads way onwards from blaze to blaze.

There is silence between you two.

You're defnitely not holding hands anymore.

More silence.

This short-cut seems to take forever.

Olivia bursts out laughing, "Man, you should see the look on your face! Like a guilty puppy!"

"Well, I did rather think you were going to run off and leave me lot in the forrest"

"Oh, that part is coming up" Olivia replies, grinning widely. You hope she's grinning because she means it as a joke. You must still have that worried puppy look, because she laughs again.

"Also, if you want to kiss me, just ask! It's as easy as that!"

"I'm really sorry!"

"Haha, not a problem, you're lucky you've already made such a good impression on me. And I don't mind kissing on the first date, it's just when it comes out of the blue like that!"
