This One

"I'll take this one." you explain, getting a chuckle from both woman. You give them a look. While your offer was serious, there wasn't anything funny that you can think of at the moment.

"Since you're our first customer, the book is on us." Lily explained, pulling out a chair. "Though, take a seat and enjoy your new book."

You comply, taking a seat at what looks to be a table. Setting the book down, you open it up to the first page.

It had begun with a broken statue for Chase. Not the drifter's intention to break such a valuable (well, he thought it was valuable at least) artifact. His elbow made contact and the statue shattered.

"Sorry." he remarked, gaze on the beautiful woman at his table. Dressed in a beautiful kimono, her white face seemed to call out to him. Add in the brown eyes accented by the red on her eyelids and eyebrows. Add in the black hair decorated with combs and other ornamentation, she was quite beautiful. "Wait. Where are you taking me?"

Pulled away from the table, the woman led him out of the tea house and towards a building of similar design. There, a woman dressed much like his attendant awaited.

"I am so-"

The woman turned to his attendant, moving her lips without a word coming out. After, Chase's attendant turned to the drifter. A kiss to his lips followed.

"What?" Clark thought, the world beginning to spin about. "Dō shita no? (What's happening to me?)"

With that, he blacked out.
