"Tell me what you want," the poker player demanded.

"I hear there's a nice tournament coming up tomorrow in Oklahoma," Rick said. "I hear you just won't be able to make it."

"That wasn't the deal."

"It's the deal now. And the other part of the deal is, we know you've got some shills in the tournament signaling you their cards. They've suddenly come down with something and they won't be able to make it either."

Kat threw a shoe at him. "Sharpening knives? What was that about."

"You know, when he pissed in his pants when you held that sharpened nail file to his eyeball, I just sort of deduced he was afraid of you. You can be a little intimidating, you know."
