Chapter 11 by Stagger
How does your little diplomatic mission go?
Things get dangerous
The next morning, you accompany Odbrak back to his camp on horseback. You are placed on Odbrak's horse in front of him again, though thankfully you're allowed to sit in an upright position this time.
Since there isn't time for any "action" in the morning, Odbrak is clearly a little pent-up; you can feel his manhood pressing against you from behind during the whole trip. It's a little thrilling to know the effect you have on the huge barbarian who has taken you as his woman.
After a protracted ride that does your already rather sore bottom no favors whatsoever, Odbrak's band arrives in the barbarian's sprawling main camp.
The savage warriors have hide tents set up as far as the eye can see, though there's enough space between them for Odbrak to ride in.
You dismount and a few of Odbrak's men lead away the horses while you, Obrak, and his two remaining warriors approach the chief's tent. Just at a glance, it's far bigger than any of the others, and guarded by a half dozen scarred barbarians.
The guards refuse to let Odbrak's men pass, and insist that he hand over his weapons before allowing him to enter.
They don't object to you entering, though they do leer at the slightly bow-legging walk you've adopted after your long ride.
You blush as you realize they think you're sore between the legs for a different reason entirely. You blush further when you realize it's not just the horseback riding that has you sore...
The inside of the tent is filled with the gaudy proof of a barbarian's wealth; gold and silver strewn about, and pelts of various fierce beasts lining the ground.
The chief himself looks much like a beast as well. He's at least as big as Odbrak, maybe even a little larger, and has an untamed black beard, streaked with grey. Most of his clothing consists of what seems to be a bear pelt, though he has random bits of metal armor here and there.
There's a wildness about him that tells you he's probably not very interested in peace talks...
He says something in the barbarian tongue to Odbrak, and the two converse fluently for a few exchanges before Odbrak clearly introduces you, naming you as "Mia".
The chief's attention shifts to you, and you see a bestial lust burning in his eyes as he speaks up in your tongue with a similar level of proficiency to Odbrak. "You, princess?"
He seems to have gotten some of the situation from his exchange with Odbrak, but is hesitant to believe it without you confirming it.
When you nod, he shows a feral grin. "You want peace?"
Feeling your chance to be diplomatic, you nod. "Yes, great chieftain. I wish to end the fighting between our peoples. If you have some requests in return, I can convey them to my father."
The chief smiles, showing his teeth as he strolls closer to you, ignoring Broderick.
"Good. Want only three things."
You smile politely while you wait to hear what his demands are, though his smile is a little frightening somehow.
The chief holds up his fingers to count as he lists his demands "Want gold. Want silver. Want women."
The third demand is a little...distasteful. Maybe some arrangement with a few brothels can be made...? But you need to check just how much they're after.
"How much gold and silver are you looking to acquire, great chieftain? How- how many...women?"
The chief stops right in front of you, his feral smile beaming down at you. He really is huge...maybe a couple finger-widths taller than Odbrak. It's like facing down a bear.
"All. All. All"
You think you must have misheard. He wants all of the gold, silver and women?
"You people soft, weak. No trade. We take."
You don't have time to think though before he plants a hand on both your shoulders, holding you in place while he peers down at you with an animalistic lust.
"First, take Princess as woman. Then kill King. Chief Kelegrim become King Kelegrim."
It's not a hugely complex plan, but it is a rather frightening one...if the populace can accept that you've actually been a woman all this time (not a hard sell considering your appearance), the Chief would get a lot of legitimacy by marrying you...enough to throw the kingdom into a civil war while the barbarians invade at least...
He looks over at Odbrak, letting go of you with one hand to wave dismissively, sounding as if he's congratulating him on a job well done and telling him to leave. He purposefully switches back to a language you can understand before adding with a lecherous smirk.
"Going to try out new woman."
Odbrak hasn't said anything during the negotiation, but he's clearly infuriated, and as the chief asks him to leave, he slaps the man's hands off of you and yells something that sounds unmistakably like a challenge in the barbarian tongue.
