Things Fall into Place

Abby had to march bottomless from the nurse's office to the principal's office. Since the school day ended a while ago, the halls were empty, but it still made Abby extremely embarrassed to be walking the halls like this. They went inside and were greeted by another woman, Principal Hughes. She had a frown on her face as she let them sit down, placing a few paper towels on Abby's chair before she sat down.

The meeting solidified the story that Nurse Patty had given Abby, but her mother was hearing it for the first time. Flabbergasted at what her daughter had done, she was looking increasingly angry at her daughter as the story went on.

"However, since it seems she has no recollection of these events, and that she hit her head before it happened, there may be a medical reason for this. I recommend going to a doctor and have them run a few scans just to be sure there's nothing wrong." Principal Hughes said.

So, that's what happened. The doctors ran tests, scans, and X-rays. Nothing was wrong. Abby's mother wasn't sure if her daughter was telling the truth about not remembering, or just saying it to avoid punishment. However, things got worse for Abby at school, with everyone who witnessed it blabbing to as many people they could, and the pictures and video making the rounds, Abby's life became a living hell within a week. It was because of this that the principal recommended that Abby transfer to another school. However, because of this, she would have to repeat the grade even though it was spring. They accepted this just to escape the ridicule.

Going to another school was difficult, but Abby made fast friends with Rita Nichols, who was a year younger than her as was everyone else in her grade. Things seemed to be looking up, until one day, when she was alone at home...
