Will they try to hike to the nearest filling station in the storm, see if there is shelter up the driveway, or turn on their hazard lights and attempt to wait the tempest out?
They stay and wait
Not wanting to risk getting lost and out of gas. They decide to just stay in the car with their hazard lights turned on and wait for help. An hour or so passes, then someone parks right behind them...
