They play Smash Bros

“Smash Bros?” Ashley suggested, and James nodded. He was always up for some Smash. So, the two travelled back to his dorm, where the game was waiting. “Sorry for making you leave your room and come all this way just to go back.” She apologized, but he waved it off.

“It’s fine, I barely get enough exercise anyway.” He said, prompting a laugh out of her. They discussed meager things as they walked, eventually reaching his room. They went inside, and started up the Switch before turning on the game. Ashley took the yellow and dark blue controllers, her favorite, and he took the grey ones.

They went into a normal game, and selected their mains. Usually they started with their mains and then did randoms, and today was no different.

Now, a while back, James was able to crush her almost every time, but after getting her ass beat so many times, she was able to get better and learn. She got better at not only her main and side mains, but also all the characters in general (except for a few). So now they were pretty evenly matched, which James was happy about.

Well, except for when she managed to utterly destroy him, like she did now, not losing even a single stock to him. She laughed triumphantly as her character’s victory screen appeared. She looked over, expecting a joking anger in his eyes, but instead she found a smile. She raised an eyebrow.

“You trust me, right?” He suddenly asked. Immediately, she became nervous.

“Yeah...” she answered. She did trust him more than anyone she knew (other than her family obviously), but still... “Why?”

“I have an idea...it’s a little...” he tried to find the right word for it, and finally settled on one. “...risqué. I don’t know if you’d be up for it, but I think it could make things a lot more interesting.” Ashley was apprehensive, but curious. So, she nodded.

“What did you have in mind?” She asked, and he smiled.
