They have to walk in the dark

"I don't care how you get there. This is the end of the line, and I'm done for the day, and headed home. You girls can't sleep on the bus. Sleeping is what made you miss your stop." The driver was growing impatient.

"All right! Let me wake up my friend. We'll get off your precious bus." Seanna turned to Nicole. "Wake up sleeping beauty! We gotta go! Let's move it Nicki!"

Nicole stretched and yawned. "Oh man! It's dark out. Where are we any way?"

"An hour out of our way, according to Prince Charming here. We're at the last stop, and no more buses are running."

The girls gathered up their belongings while the drive watched them. They got off the bus and looked around. The station was closed, which left them not many choices at all, being way out in the middle of nowhere, or at least it felt like it.

"So what do we do?" asked Seanna.

"I guess we only have a couple of choices. We can hang out here and wait for the station to open, or we can start hiking back that way, and hope we run into someone along the way, or maybe find a house along the road that would be willing to let us stay for the night. What do you wanna do?"

Seanna thought about the options Nicole gave her. None of them sounded all that great. She frowned, and just as she was about to give Nicole her answer, headlights appeared from nowhere, blinding both girls. "Who on earth is that?" Seanna asked.

"I don't know" said Nicole. "But maybe we shouldn't stick around to find out."
