They do the work at a later date

"Of course you can do it at a later date, but be reasonable. Do I have your word?"

"You do." Melissa spoke in a serious tone.

"I don't really like to work." Isabel said in a whiny voice.

Melissa interrupted. "She'll work, I'll make sure of it" Melissa said as she hit Isabel on the back of the head lightly.

"Okay then, be on your way, just take my driveway out to the dirt road and go around by the park straight into town, that's the best way."

The two women walked out of Big Jim's shack and down the driveway to the road. They were near the park where Isabel's whole new ordeal started when a gust of wind blew Isabel's paper dress straight off.
