They arrive at N.E.R.V HQ

The wreck of a car pulls up to a large iron gate, Misato produces a keycard from her glove compartment. She rolls down her window which makes a grinding noise akin to nails on chalkboard from the general state of the vehicle. Once she can fit her arm through she holds it out fiddling with it back and forth like she is trying line it up or something. After a few seconds a buzzing noise is heard and the large gate begins to open, and Misato pulls her arm back inside stowing the keycard back in the glove compartment before fiddling through the mess inside looking for something else. As she does the car lurches forward on its own surprising Shinji for a second as the car is dragged by a conveyor inside the gate, and with a start that makes him jump the gates behind them slam shut leaving him and Misato in the dark for a moment. Misato hums a tune for a moment and then the chamber is filled with a harsh red light, a recorded voice begins prattling off some instructions like some amusement park ride.

Shinji breaks the silence between him and Misato saying "So N.E.R.V?" trying to signal that he has no idea what's actually happening. Misato continues rummaging through her messy glove compartment but picks up on Shinji's question. "Uh huh" Misato says continuing on "It's a secret organization controlled by the U.N." She says adding a bit of mysticism to the last half with her tone. Shinji nods and goes "And, that's where my father works?". Misato quickly responds with "Yeah, you do know what he does don't you?" Shinji sighs a bit and relaxes into the passenger seat "All my teachers told me was that it was important to the future of mankind."

Misato finally pulls out what she was looking for, a small hand mirror and begins checking her make up. Shinji looks at his scuffed dress shoes and says "Misato are we really going to see my father?" Shinji hears the hand mirror clack shut and Misato pointedly responds with "of course, of course we are." Shinji's shoulders sink and he begins slowly drawing a circle on the floor of the car with his right foot, thinking just how many years since he ever saw his father. Shinji starts getting lost in his own thoughts when Misato's voice pulls him back "Oh yeah, did your dad send you an ID card?" His eyes pop open and he pulls a folded up piece of paper out of his pocket with every single word on it blacked out, "Um this right?" Misato plucks it from his fingers an says "Oh thanks, and here start reading this." As Misato pulls out a green folder stamped with the word NERV on it. Shinji gently takes it from her and holds it close to his face as if to try and deceiver some hidden meaning from the strange word. "N.E.R.V. My father's agency, am I gonna be working for him?" Shinji asks confused. Misato doesn't respond she simply puts her arms behind her head and stairs at the ceiling as the car shakes a bit, and starts descending on some strange elevator. Shinji grips the folder tight, running his thumb across the words for your eyes only. Shinji's tone takes on a bitter dismissive tone "What am I saying, he wouldn't of sent for me unless he needed me for something." Misato breaths in sharply and closes her eyes "Sounds like you don't get along with your dad, you sound just like me."

Shinji lifts his eyes from the folder and looks at Misato peacefully resting in her seat, the subtle movement of the elevator making her large breasts bounce a bit hypnotically. With each breath Misato took her chest rose and fell gently making the zipper that held it close strain a bit each time. Shinji couldn't help but think the dress she wore was a bit undersized with how tight it hugged her chest. Misato opened one eye and caught Shinji staring and smirked causing his face to turn red.

Then all of a sudden the car was flooded with warm bright orange light as the elevator shaft opened and Misato and Shinji were weaving through a hanging upside down city on the elevator track. Shinji looked down through the window to see them moving over a massive underground lake shimmering like liquid gold from artificial sunlight. Shinji gasped "A real Geo Front!" he blurted in excitement, he had only read about them in magazines or been told about them by science teachers back at school. Misato chimed in "That's right, this is our secret underground base N.E.R.V central. This city is the key to rebuilding our world, a fortress for all man kind." Misato moved from her seat a bit and leaned against Shinji her buxom chest pressing against his small boyish back, moving her lips to his ear and giggling slightly "Pretty impressive right?" Shinji marveled at what he saw hanging on Misato's words until the elevator track descended even farther into the earth than the Geo Front, the warm golden light a memory behind them.
