What's next?
Theo tried to come up with a solution.
Desperation took hold of Theodore in a way he had never experienced before. The initial shock slowly became an unstoppable determination to save Ashley at any cost. He could not, would not, stand by as Ash was cast aside. His mind raced with thoughts of action, each more frantic and reckless than the last.
He went to the home of Ashley's parents. "Please, you must help me," he implored, voice raw with emotion. "You are her parents. Mr. Jones, Mrs. Jones, I beg you, do not let her be sold out. There must be some way that can save her from the auction."
"Theodore," her mother said with a tremor in her voice, "we have nothing can do. We are also anxious and sad. We are free in name, but actually we cannot control everything in our life. "
As the days passed with agonizing slowness, Theodore's frantic search for a solution grew ever more desperate. He searched for old documents on the Internet and in libraries, hoping to find some loopholes to save Ashley. He consulted with relatives and teachers. Each conversation, however, ended with a shake of their heads.
In that final, painful hour before the auction, Theodore stood at the edge of despair. His last hope lay in one final, desperate plan.
Theodore had managed to enter the market. He was no longer the boy who was proud of his ownership over his girl; today, he was a man driven by love and despair.
For Ashley, the slave trading centre was a place of nightmares coming true. The sound of bidding voices echoed in her ears.
Tears welled up in Ashley's eyes as a thought crossed her mind. Maybe I wasn't good enough. Maybe I didn't serve him well enough, didn't please him enough. She told herself that if she had been more obedient, more silent, perhaps he would have kept her safe.
She longed to go back to Theodore's side, to serve him once more. *If only I could be more useful to him, more obedient, and suck his dick more often, perhaps he would save me.* She couldn't imagine being other men's slave and being used by them, she had firmly believed that she existed for Theodore. But the truth was, she had no control over what happened to her. She could only wait and hope, but as the auction proceeded, she couldn't stop the painful realization that maybe Theodore had simply given her up.
The auction began, with the auctioneer calling out the names of slaves. Theodore's heart was beating with every name spoken. When the auctioneer mentioned Ashley's name, every memory of her smiles came to Theodore's mind.
