The women wonder what the hell he did to Nicki

Rick was dragging a bit when he finally made it to Tiffany's home. He knocked on the door only to have it opened immediately.

Kat physically dragged him in, shoved him onto a recliner, and glared at him. Which is when he noticed that the other women were glaring at him as well.

"What the hell did you do to her?" Tiffany demanded.

"I told her that her father was turning her into an underage female against her will and that he'd also murdered her mother," Rick answered. "What was I supposed to do? Lie?"

"Obviously you could have been a lot more gentle," Usha said. "She's in tears."

"Yeah, girls who are being poisoned by their father and who learn that he killed their mom should be all cheery and light." Rick figured that he, possibly, should tone down the snark but he couldn't make himself do it. He was tired, mad, and he didn't see any way forward. Even if he'd still been at bio-DNA and still had access to the app code, he wouldn't be able to help Tiffany because he'd at least had enough sense to make sure the link between the app and the bio-DNA was encrypted so no weirdos could go messing with other people's functioning. He just hadn't considered the possibility of anyone getting bio-DNA without their knowledge or control of the app. Obviously that was an oversight on his part but then again, considering what had happened, it was only one of many oversights on his part.

Kat scowled at Rick and he braced himself for the attempted castration she'd threatened several times but Tiffany headed off any attack.

"Kat tells me that Nicki has physically changed, is that right?"

"She has changed. Her father is using the bio-DNA app to make her appear younger. From what Nicki has said, I'm thinking he's doing it to a former intern named Misty Storm as well."

"Nobody is named Misty Storm," Kat argued.

"Tell her parents that."

"That has to be illegal," Tiffany pointed out."

"Yeah," Rick said. "What are we going to do? Arrest him? He'll walk away in about half an hour and you'll be fighting to keep your job by the end of the day. If you look into it, I'm willing to bet that Hughes or bio-DNA are big contributors to the sheriff, the mayor, and every city councilperson."

The group lapsed into silence, which let Rick hear the sound of sobbing from Nicki who'd apparently been listening the whole time.

He turned to the bedroom door where she sniveled in the opening.

When she saw that he was looking at him, she ran to him, threw her arms around him and bawled into his shirt.

Well, hell.

"Sleep with me," she demanded. "I'm afraid they'll come and get me during the night."

He looked around at the five beautiful women... Kat, Usha, Tiffany, Donna and Tanya. Any one of them, or combination of them, would be willing to go to bed with him and he'd get some highly welcome action. Instead, he was going to have to spend a chaste night with a woman who would also be willing to have sex with him but who he wasn't going to touch because she looked underage and frankly that wasn't a turnon for him.
