The way lovers do.

She calmed down soon enough and they were both gasping. Although for different reasons Naruto wouldn't have changed it for anything as looking down on her now she was no longer just glowing. With the added sweat and juices she was now sparkling just like the nymph had been while dancing in the water all those years ago. Suddenly many things flashed through his head at once and realization hit him like a battering ram.

"Hinata, it was you, wasn't it? You were the one dancing in the water on that mission."

For her part Hinata could only blush and nod to confirm his guess.

"I can't believe it, I thought you were the most beautiful thing I had ever seen back then, and now you are the most beautiful thing to me laying here just as you are. You may be happy that I chose you, but right now I think I'm tens times as happy that you accepted."

Holding her tight he kissed her with more passion then he could remember kissing anyone.

Emboldened by his confession Hinata found a renewed strength in her as she push him off of her and rolled with him until they were both on their sides, face to face and hip to hip. "Love me." Was all the encouragement Naruto needed as he shifted his hips and slowly, delicately, slid into her. As he pushed up, and she ground down, they stared into each others eyes. Neither looked away as they slowly made love lying on the grass in that field and there was nothing else in the world that mattered to either of them at that moment.

Gradually they began to increase their pace as they professed their love to each other over and over. From slow and steady to a slightly quick grinding they quickened their tempo as they both neared their release. All through the quickening pace they never lost eye contact not even when they both came holding each other tightly, nor in the minutes afterwards while they rested. Twice more they made love in that field each time they came together as if it was simply meant to be.

As they settled down from their last session Naruto could tell Hinata was drifting off, so he stood up and gathered her into his arms. During the whole walk back Hinata nibbled on his neck and earlobe, confessing over and over how much she loved him. When they got to her room Naruto lay her on her bed and kissed her once more as she drifted off to sleep.
