The water type, Squirtle.

You check each of the available Pokemon, and as impressive as the evolved forms look for the others, you've had your heart set. With an almost reverent touch, you take possession of Squirtle's Poke'ball.

There is a strange tingle that runs down your spine, and you have no idea what it means...

Blue, seeing that you've made your choice, strolls to the table and quickly claims the Poke'ball containing Bulbasaur. Surprise there.

"Alright. I see you both made your choices." The professor remarks, before turning to a nearby computer and begins typing something. "..there..good...whoops....alright....yes...and done!" He exclaims as he presses one last button. The machine next to the computer comes to life, making a large racket before spitting one then a second item onto a tray below it. Prof. Oak quickly grabs them and hands them to you both. "These are a physical copy of your Pokemon license, and serve as a debit card to your accounts. Take care of them."

Both you and Blue take a look at the cards and let out a simultaneous sigh, before handing the card to the other, prompting the professor to chuckle in an embarrassed manner.

"You wanna battle?" You ask Blue, who smirks and nods in response.

"Outside please." You both quickly obey, slipping out a side door (Poor Mr./Miss Groper) and soon find yourselves at opposite ends of the battlefield.
