The usual way

Cameron went over the entire conversation she had with John, including what he had told her to do that brought up the topic of the new breed of Terminators. She decided to put off scolding her child for using the futuristic killing machine as a sex toy until after they determined if there was a possible threat to them. "Is there a chance that your sister, or any of these Terminators in general would come back?" Sarah asked the android. "Skynet normally sends male Terminators, much like you have normally encountered as there is little reason to send out infiltration and interrogation type Terminators unless Skynet deemed it necesary for it's success. There is more use of them in the future, when the Resistance is already set up." Cameron replied. "Ok, but we're still going to keep our guard up, in the off event that one does show up, I want to be ready." Sarah said as she went to get John to discuss what he had done.

Meanwhile, Casey had finally reached town and first connected to a computer to check to see if there was any trace of the Connors, which of course there wasn't. As she went to formulate a new plan, she decided she would need back-up. She pulled a small device from her body, went to a secluded area, found a patch of dirt, and buried it there. Not long after a small time rift opened again, and two silver blobs appeared from it as it closed.

These two blobs were the remains of a T-1000 that had been captured and slightly reprogrammed by the Resistance. Due to the damage it recieved during it's capture, it was only able to be reprogrammed to be the equivilent of a pet, capable of taking animal form. They were re-obtained by Skynet, but were unable to be fixed. Before being destroyed however, Casey took them, reprogramming them to act as an extention of her, taking animal form to work as surveilance, or if needed, able to take on the form of solid objects that she needed, such as restraints, weapons, and so on, as well as being able to merge with current technology to enhance it. They were capable of merging together to take a human form, but still required control by Casey, and could also merge with her, to extend her abilities. She refered to them as T-5A and T-5B.

She had T-5A turn into Labrador to search by ground, while she had T-5B turn into a pigeon and search by air, and both were required to report back if they found something. While they searched, she went to find someone to play with while waiting for a report.
