The twin dragons

Greetings to you who now own the twin dragons. In my time with them I found their power very useful. When you are wearing the silver twin any who meet the gaze of the green twin will be put into a kind of trance. while in the trance the wearer of the silver twin, and only them, can implant suggestions or conditions in the victim. Then to bring them out of the trance just remove them from the green twin's gaze. I hope the twins serve you as well as they did me.

My first thought after reading that was it was a funny little legend or something to go with the dragons as a story piece. but what if... No it couldn't be. Stuff like that doesn't exist. I pulled the ring out of the box and put it on. It fit perfectly. I was about to put the pendant on when our food got to us so I left it in the bag. Liz and I sat and ate while we talked about anything we could think of from school, to how Sara has been treating me, and even the local renovation projects. By the time our lunch was over Liz was onto her fourth or fifth topic.

"So if you want to stay out of the house for a while" she mentioned. "My mom and dad had to go out of town again to visit my aunt. we could hang out and kick out some of the old board games we played back when."

This wasn't a new invite to me. Liz's parents went out a lot and Liz never wanted to go with them. Every time they did Liz would invite me over saying we were going to play old board games but we would end up watching some movie or something on a streaming service. It didn't bother me because we had similar taste in movies but for once I wanted to actually play board games.

"Sure but let's get a bit more shopping done." I answered. "But lets stay here a bit longer. this place is cool."

We shopped for another few hours. Each store we went to had different things. One had vintage books, another made steampunk apparel, and another sold foods from all over the world. Each one had it's charm but in the back of my mind all I could think of was that note and how odd it was. Even on the trip to Liz's house I couldn't shake it. Finally, as we walked into her house, I decided I was going to try it. If it worked that would be awesome, if not I could pass it as a joke.

"Hey Liz?" I tried to get her attention and pulling out the pendant. "Check out the cool dragon pendant I found."

"You and your dragons." she teased. "I swear sometimes you would become a dragon if... you... could."

As she got to the end of her sentence I noticed the pendant glowing a pale green. I looked up at Liz and her eyes were glowing the same green. my first thought was 'holy shit it worked' then I thought what should I try as a suggestion.
