The trio has a new plan

Warren slipped the designs and blueprints of some of the greatest ideas of the 20th century into a backpack. He also included a laptop, and there were several suitcases of extra battery packs. And a couple of history books.

"I'm ready to go guys. If this works, things are going to be a lot different. You've got the protective circle set up, right Jonathan?"

"Yep."

"I wish I could go through with you."

"No way Andrew, I'm barely going to have enough power to open a portal for one. No way I can have enough power for two. Last chance to back out, because I won't be able to bring you back. You'll have to find a way to survive."

"I'm doing this."

Jonathan recited the spell, and he and Andrew stepped inside the protective circle as Warren entered the time portal. IT would protect them from any changes to the timeline.

Warren stepped out into Sunnydale, or the town that was to be Sunnydale over 100 years in the past. There were a few overgrown buildings, the town had once been a mission after all. But by the time Richard Wilkins founded it, it was a ghostown.

"Are you a demon?"

Warren jumped out of his skin. WHen he turned around he found himself face to face with Richard Wilkins. "Talk about accurate. No, I'm not a demon, Mr. Wilkins."

"I realized that when I saw how you reacted. WHo are you?"

"I'm a resident of the town you're about to found from the future. I'm here to help you out. I'll tell you about the women who end up beating you. And maybe we can do something about the name."

"What wrong with Sunnydale?"

"I just think we can do something better. Like maybe Stepford?" He laughed out loud at that.

Wilkins just looked at him strangely. "Sorry, you have to be fromt he future to get that."

"I still prefer Sunnydale. And I'd like some proof you're from the future."
