The topic at hand.

“All I know is that there are two in the village and Naruto should know them, other then that I was only told that there were proposals waiting.” Shizune was trying to get the other girls to understand that she had no idea who wanted to marry Naruto, only that there was at least a couple more on the list. “She also mentioned that at least one of them was a very important person, and was going to stay with Tsunade-sama until the details were completed.”

“Hey Casanova, just how many women did you seduce on your journeys?” Tayuya jabbed at him.

“More then I tried to it seems if current company is anything to go by.”

“And just what is that supposed to mean?” Shion shot at him in mock anger. At least he hoped it was mock anger.

“N-nothing Shion-chan. I just mean I didn’t intend to seduce anyone. It my natural charms I guess.” A riotous chorus of laughter erupted at Naruto’s attempt at an explanation. “Still I wonder who they could be.”

“Oh come on. If you’re going to seduce women, at least remember who they are idiot.” Sakura reprimanded.

Naruto held up his arms in surrender bringing cheers from the gathered women. His stomach reminding him why he came here in the first place, Naruto began gathering food from the many dishes provided signaling the ladies to do the same. He had to admit it was a nice change of pace to eat together with people like this. It wasn’t something he was used to doing at his old apartment. This was definitely a part of his new life that he would have no trouble getting used to.

After the women ate their fill they continued their small talk for a bit until they started to leave the table in ones and twos, headed for their evening agendas. Naruto on the other hand seemed to be able to eat more then usual and was left behind finishing up his last bit of onigiri as the table was being cleared by the servants. Finally finished he stretched and headed to his room. If Anko was anywhere near as eager as she let on, she would already be waiting there for him. What he didn’t take into account was the doors he had to pass on the way to his room.
