The tests

Things were moving a pace. Sarah contacted Dan that same day to say she had organised the money and to arrange getting Tom for initial tests. Tom did as he was told and Dan began to systematically scan his body, occasionally returning to the computer to check the model that was appearing on the screen and returning to Tom to scan areas that needed more work. Sarah glanced over at him "He's okay, just a little odd. Just ignore him" She wasn't sure why she was defending him. Maybe it was that she knew what she had to do in a bit and it made it easier if she didn't despise him.

She took the samples to Dan and he checked her out, smirked and said "Thanks babe."

When Sarah went back to Tom his eyes were wide "Are you really going to let him talk to you like that?" he whispered angrily.

"Look, I don't like it but I have to be nice to him. He was a lot harder to bargain with than I had assumed. If I upset him he might change his mind" she whispered back.

Dan seemed to be done with his task for now "Right, I'm going to take Sarah in the other room. It's sensitive and classified equipment. I'm only showing her because I need her to assist.
