The soldiers hesitate

"Now hold on a minute boys," the sergeant's voice sounds off rather than the rifles. "I think I'm jumping the gun a little too soon here. We've lost a lot of people already and I don't want to raise the bodycount just yet. Not til we know what we really are getting ourselves into."

Your wide eyes flicker from soldier to soldier as you try to scroll through potential escape plans. Unfortunately you run dry. You are unarmed and facing three trained soldiers. The trios' faces are masked by fancy military helmets that make them look more like killer robots. Horizontal slits where the eyes should be display no remorse. The dark digital camouflage pattern on their heavy armor removes any assumption of them being amateurs.

"Ma'am, stay where you are. Please put your hands behind your head and turn around. Good. Thank you very much for your cooperation, we real-"

"Sir, the bottom part of her uniform," a younger subordinate to his left interrupts.

"I see it Corporal," the sergeant breathes slowly. "Okay ma'am you can turn back around. No sudden movements though. Ah, what's your name?"

"R-Rachel, Rachel Sands," you respond anxiously.

There is a tense stillness before the sergeant speaks again. "Miss Sands, I am Sergeant Travis Zhang. Now we respect your dignity and don't want to **** you to expose yourself to us. Just tell us what happened to you, this will make our jobs a lot more easier. I do request that you be completely honest with us, so for everybody's safety keep that in mind. I just might think twice."

You wonder if you should tell the truth or not. If they let you live, what's going to happen to you later? The guns are still pointed at you but the sergeant may be a reasonable one.
