The room

You open the door and are unimpressed by how simple the place is. It's more like a cheap hotel room.

The twin sized bed sits against one wall. There's a small nightstand with a phone, a television sits on top of an old dresser, and there's a very simple bathroom with a shower stall. The only nice feature is the window overlooking the forested ravine.

"Wow, uh." You turn to look back at Samantha, "So, this is where I stay huh? For how long?"

"Yeah, this is it. Just until Doctor Lybeck is done with stage 3. It should only be a few days."

With that reminder you quickly spot the cameras mounted on the walls overlooking various angles of the room. Looks like you'll be under observation for the duration.

"Well, Jane, like I said, if you have any issues give me or the doctor a ring. Our numbers should be listed next to the phone. There's a map of the facility showing how to get to the bar, the pool, the nature trails... that sort of stuff if you want to get out. Have fun!"

You're surprised that Sam is leaving you all alone in this slightly uncomfortable room, "Wait, aren't you going to stay with me?"

"I've got a few more things I need to do. Besides, I thought you might want some time to," She pauses, "get comfortable first. I'm sure I'll see you this evening." With that she smiles, turns, and leaves the room.
