Chapter 35 by jealco

Where does she head next?

The rapids

The rapids were relatively close, and were also a popular spot within the park. She figured she'd get it out of the way early, as well, and at least have some idea of what it would take to get her offering back.

She set off up the trail leading to the rapids, the cold drizzle keeping her nipples stiff against her blouse. She hoped it would end soon; it was rather miserable weather to be out in, even if it helped highlight her lack of a bra. She trudged through the slick mud, hurrying towards the rapids as fast as she could without falling.

Mark watched her head up the path away from the restrooms, noting her lack of a bra by both the way her breasts jiggled and the sudden lack of that flash of red through her blouse. He grinned to himself, knowing that her actions at the parade yesterday were definitely not a fluke. As soon as she was out of sight of the restrooms, he walked over to them, and headed around the outer wall to see if her bra was visible.

Looking up, he could see the bright patch of red against the dark brown paint clearly, causing his smile to broaden. In her haste to grab the photo, she hadn't considered the color of the building properly. He'd carefully chosen his sites such that some of her clothing would be at risk of disappearing without his involvement, something she obviously not properly considered. He'd have to check back later and see if it had gone missing.

Satisfied, Mark headed up the path towards the rapids, wondering what exactly she'd leave there.

Ten minutes later, Julie arrived at the viewpoint overlooking the rapids. Aside from the signboards offering information about the creek and it's history and a wooden fence at the edge of the viewpoint, there was nothing man-made here. Checking the signs and the fence, Julie found no signs of the photo there. Frowning, Julie considered where else he could have hidden it.

As she was about to start checking trees around the periphery of the viewpoint, she remembered a somewhat secluded trail leading down next to the rapids. It wasn't an official one; in fact, the park service had tried to prevent people from using it, to no avail. It led downwards to a flat, rocky outcropping beneath the viewpoint, where some people who were brave enough to get down there and work their way along the creek would sit and enjoy the rushing waters. Julie found the faint trail leading away from the clearing, and followed it until it hitched down a steep incline towards the creek. Looking back at the viewpoint, Julie could see that the trail was at least partially obscured from the viewpoint. There was no sign of the photo at the top of the incline, so Julie followed the trail down.

Between the slickness of the mud and the sharp incline, Julie almost slipped and fell, barely managing to plant her feet on a large rock people used as a step. The abrupt stop made her breasts bounce sharply, almost painfully, and Julie crossed an arm beneath them for support as she worked her way down to the bottom. As she finally reached the flat rocks at the bottom, Julie was drawn to a large bush just next to where the rock face veered right, leading back under the viewpoint.

Checking behind it, she found her prize, located on the somewhat precarious ledge behind the bush. The space was confined, with barely a foot and a half between it and a short drop to the creek. It was hidden from the viewpoint and the outcropping, but she would be clearly visible to anyone across the creek or coming down the trail.

Julie pondered what to leave here. This spot would be easier to get to, but was dangerously exposed at the same time.

What does she leave here?
