The plane

However, you waited patiently with the other security people, the journalists, the bloggers, the VS crew and everyone else that wasn't a model, while the girls went one by one to check the passports.

You didn't lose sight of Adriana for even a second, until she passed the checkpoint and went on the other side. Now she was as much excited as everyone else, laughing and having fun with the other girls. It surprised me how much familiar she seemed to be with them, considering she told that, besides Lais who is a very good friend, she doesn't see them much outside of work.

Finally it was our common mortals time, and it took you a bit more respect the others because of all the papers for carrying the gun on the flight, on you and not on a luggage. Did that, you were in another waiting room that was just opening on the field with the private jet.

It was a luxury plane, big enough for all the models there, around 30 since the remaining ones that couldn't be in New York for the flight were going to Paris on their own, and all the staff, us security and some journalist and bloggers too, that were going to travel with the Angels.

Since they were going to film everything that happened outside, they had you come out first so you weren't in the middle of the camera view when all the models were going to get out. You found a an isolated position away from the filming crews and the photographers, and watched while the super excited girls came out.

They gave them some mini French flags, that the were waving around, and the girls really seemed kids going to a school trip: all dressed with the same pink shirt and jeans look, they laughed, jumped around, played for the camera and shouted their excitement to go to Paris. Then they made them pose all together near the plane, and later over the big (and pink too) boarding ramp.

It was a small taste of the craziness that was going to happen at the actual show: photographers running around to get the best angles, screaming the women's names to get their attention, journalists asking a few questions to the girls, and egocentric bloggers filming themselves near the plane with the Angels so they could have their 5 minutes of fame on social media.
