Chapter 25 by Manbear Manbear

What is this latest discovery?

The pirates are not what they seem

Dear Sir Williard,

My mind is much clearer now.

To my delight I found Hilda squirming under the sheets and moaning softly as I lurked silently outside the small attic room assigned to her, she was as ready to be used as I was to take her. I pretended, Sir Williard, to be outraged by her wanton smuttiness as I burst in on her jerking the sheet from her and catching her with her fingers still deep in her sex.

"Don't you get enough during the day?" I demanded harshly as I flipped her onto her belly and lifted her nightgown the rest of the way over her round ass. "Do I need to bind your wrists each night when I send you to bed so you can't act the whore?"

She moaned and whimpered something into the mattress, but I ignored her apologies and proceeded to spank her soundly for almost a minute before kneeing her legs apart and plunging into her. The sex was hot and fast and in spite of the Danish maid's tears she was excited by the fierceness of my coupling, exploding with me into a gushing climax that soaked both my manhood and her bedding. I ended the sudden encounter by shoving my dripping erection into her mouth and having the sex-crazed young woman clean me with her tongue.

I understand the hypocrisy, my lord, in my words and actions and I could not defend what I did before either a court of men or a jury of angels. I can only say that I what I did is nothing compared to the base actions of many of the most respected and admired Lords of the British Empire, the very officers of the East Orion Company whom I came to this planet hoping to impress.

This information comes to me from Miss Alice with whom I had the chance to converse with after dinner as the dinner guests mingled in a large parlor with a string quartet playing a waltz softly in the far corner. Several couples found the dance floor and began to rise and fall as they twirled in time with the music; I had no plan to join them but Miss Alice took my hand almost immediately and once again I had to thank my mother who had insisted that the ability to dance was one of the most important skills a gentleman could have. With Miss Alice's buxom body held securely in my arms it was surprisingly easy to have a private conversation; we chatted briefly about the Anna-Leigh which was docked along the river at the base of the slope and it was then that I asked her if she was worried about her home's river front exposure to the raids from pirates. Her giggle, Sir Williard, shocked me more than I expected.

Because of the implications of what I am disclosing Sir Williard, I will attempt to record the exact words of our intimate conversation as we danced.

"Aren't you at all concerned that you might fall into their brutal hands?" I asked in surprise.

"Perhaps this year," She smiles shyly up at you, "For the past three years Father has sent me away, but this year I might be around." I almost missed a step as I tried to fathom the meaning behind her words, with her next question I did stop.

"Will you be joining the pirates this year?" She breathed softly into my ear. "You are sure to be asked, because you have a powerboat. You should have heard my father's disappointment when Sir Henry mothballed the Anna-Leigh. Although after what happened to Katie I can't really blame him."

"Your father is a River Pirate?" I hissed in surprise as I started moving again, although not nearly as smoothly as before.

"Not so loud," Miss Alice whispered back, she was so close now that her lips brushed against my neck above my starched collar. "None of us are supposed to know, but I figured it out the year Katie drowned, and found my father's costume hidden in his closet." She pressed closer to me and rested her cheek on my shoulder before adding quietly. "Would you like to raid this mansion? I'll tell you just where to look if you want to be the first to find me."

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" I asked, remembering how I had chased this lovely maiden down when we first met. Miss Alice giggled softly again and squeezed my arm firmly.

"You should join them," she now sounded cool and practical, "as far as I can tell it's a very select group of the city's finest gentlemen who get to play out their boyhood fantasies."

"B-b-but the things they do!" I remember stammering badly as the music came to the end.

"Oh yes, those wicked wicked pirates." Miss Alice pulled away slightly and smiled sweetly. "You'd be surprised at how many of Rajah's most proprietous ladies find a way to visit their friends along the riverfront when word of an impending pirate raid spreads." As we walked slowly to the punch bowl I couldn't help but ask.

"What about Katie Alterson?" I could see my companion's mood sober instantly Sir Williard, but by then we were once again surrounded by over a dozen other dinner guests and she spoke only of inconsequential topics. As I steamed home that evening on the smooth-flowing Arjun I wondered if Miss Alterson, like Alice, had figured out that her father was one of the River Pirates, if so that could surely explain why the girl had hurled herself into the swirling waters of the swollen river rather than fall into the hands of those false gentlemen.

What does Dr. Baxter do with this new information?
