The origin of the three factions

Marcie's presence within the Royal Magnificence made defections to the Crazy Carousel and Blue Sublime easy to explain.

"What I don't understand" said Mikki, "is why everything is controlled by three gangs"

Mikki was a new girl that had joined the Royal Magnificence less than a month ago.

"Well, Noname High started out as a normal school named after a western hero" said Lindsey, "then at some point, it started to suffer poor funding. This was when some guys in black suits showed up and gave an absurd amount of authority to the student council"

"Why would they do?"

"Nobody knows. But the student council president became tyrants. As a result, more and more groups and clubs revolted until it turned into a civil war that ended two years ago with the school's power divided into three groups, the Royal Magnificence, the Crazy Carousel and Blue Sublime with the student council having no influence at all"

"But wouldn't those black suit guys do something about it?"

"Apparently, they were fine with the arrangement"

Lindsey considered her next move. Allying with the student council would prove controversial so they weren't an option. However the volleyball clubs would prove useful. The male 'Leaders' was a regular volleyball, while the female 'Wildcats' were a beach volleyball club.

"Whats the difference?" asked Susan.
