The nun calls you up

Your thoughts are interrupted by the nun. Her speaking stops, and then she looks out towards the audience.

"Will all the new students please come up on the stage so we can welcome them?" she asks in her old voice.

Slowly boys and girls file out from the crowd, forming a row on the stage. The nun counts them.

"...Twenty-three, twenty-four... We're missing a girl."

Then you hear Lily's voice. "She's here, Mother, I greeted her at the her room. I'm pretty sure she's in here right now. Her name is Sarah."

"Thank you daughter," the nun replies to Lily, then scans the crowd.

"Will Sarah please come up?"

You are petrified. This is just getting worse and worse! The crowd starts to get restless.
