The next morning

Julie awakened the next morning to her alarm blaring, slapping it off as she sat up and yawned mightily. She had slept much better than she expected. The sun was shining through the cracks in her blinds, announcing another beautiful day.

As she stretched, she could feel she had soaked her sweats in juices. What she remembered of her dreams the night before was a thoroughly exciting mix of her escapades in the school and the park. She stripped and headed down the hall for a quick shower, limiting herself to a mere cleaning. She'd save her excitement for later, when it would be so much better than now.

After she exited the shower, she quickly toweled off, then headed back down the hall to her room. She took a few moments to brush her hair and apply some light makeup, reveling again in how much her routines were changing. Before today, she would never have wandered down the hall naked, even if she was home alone.

As she finished her makeup, she glanced at her clock, noting she had plenty of time to get ready before she had to head down to the mall. As she turned to her closet and dresser, she realized just how vaguely normal could be taken. Some women dressed conservatively, others flaunted themselves, yet they were all "normal." She had a lot of leeway, and she found herself wondering at just what she should wear.

As she contemplated her options, she took a moment to grab a small knife and pair of scissors, and tuck them into her purse. Depending on what she wore, they just might come in handy with what she was going to do.
