The next day

You and your mom are on the balcony again, enjoying the sunrise. "Ahh, I love the weather," says your mom, "I wonder what today will bring me?"

All of a sudden, the doorbell rings. "I wonder who will visit us today?" questions your mom, "If it's Kukui, he would be here with us by now. Check it out, sweetie."

Funny, no one came in, so you get out of your house, and it's Lillie, waiting for you. "Oh!" says Lillie. "Um, the professor said something like 'Hey Lillie, bring me that great trainer, woo!' So let me show you where his lab is located." Before you both can head out, you hear your mom coming out to see you both.

"Here's some money for you," says your mom, "Don't spend it all in one place!" She turns to Lillie. "Well done, sweetie, you already have a girlfriend. And she's cute, too. I knew coming to Alola was a great idea."

"M-me?" stutters Lillie, "Well... uh... nice to you, ma'am..."

"Well, I guess it's time for you to have fun!" says your mom to you. "Don't be gone too long!" You can hear Meowth meowing in agreement before both it and she go back in.

"Wow, your mother is so nice," says Lillie, "Anyways, follow me."

"Sorry, but to get to the lab, we'll have to go through the tall grass," says Lillie, "He says he likes that so that he can research moves when there's Pokemon near his place. Since I'm not a Trainer, I have to keep using Repels, to keep them from attacking."

"Oh yes, Nebby is actually a Pokemon called Cosmog," she says to you, "It came from far away, and is really rare. It has a special power, and it saved me when I was in danger." Nebby squeals happily when it heard its name. "We cannot let it fall into the wrong hands, so only the professor and Kakuna Hala and other people I can trust can know this. Please don't tell anyone what happened on the bridge. Please..." Before you can respond, she walks ahead of you towards the professor's house.

Before you can reach her though, you are stopped by a Pokemon trainer. "Let's go, kneecaps!" he says.
