The next day in school with some issues in control

The next morning, you awoke as Lisa-Marie and got ready for school, just like any other day. Vanessa was supposed to meet you at the bus stop, a routine you both had for years. However, today, Vanessa was unusually silent, only offering you a small smile as you greeted her.

You arrived at the "Gymnasium," the German equivalent of a high school, and your first class was Mathematik. You and Vanessa sat together, as usual. While Vanessa was generally an active participant in class, today she was remarkably quiet. She only spoke when spoken to, her responses perfectly on point but lacking her usual enthusiasm.

Despite the oddity, none of your classmates seemed to notice any change in Vanessa's behavior. To them, it was just another day, with Vanessa being perhaps a little quieter than usual, but nothing worth noting.

During Pausenzeit (recess), Vanessa stayed by your side, quietly sipping from her water bottle while you chatted with your other friends. Occasionally, she'd add a comment or two, but she mostly kept to herself. Again, no one seemed to find it strange, attributing it to her not feeling well or being tired.

After lunch, you had the dreaded Doppelstunde (double lesson) of Physik. Normally, Vanessa would try to lighten the mood with jokes and shared misery. But today, she quietly noted down everything the teacher said and even managed to answer some questions correctly.

Finally, the school day ended with a Sportunterricht (PE) lesson. Vanessa moved with her usual grace, but her movements were somehow mechanical, efficient rather than expressive.

Despite the strangeness of the day, you found yourself enjoying this newfound control. Vanessa was there, yet she wasn't really, acting out the day as if on autopilot. Even though the situation was entirely out of the ordinary, nobody seemed to suspect anything. This silent obedience from Vanessa was exactly what you had hoped for when you used the pen.
