"This'll be fun, Mitsuru-senpai. Everyone I've talked to has said this movie's great." Minako cheerily said as she and Mitsuru stepped into their theater.
Despite the movie being a recent release, the theater wasn't particularly crowded. There were plenty of people, to be sure, but there were still plenty of places the two of them could sit in relative privacy. Leading Mitsuru through the theater, Minako picked a cozy little spot in a quiet corner of the room. Settling in just as the previews began, the two Gekkoukan students were ready for a pleasant few hours of cinema. At least, that had been the plan...
Shortly after the previews began, a strange change befell Minako. Her expression shifted from cheery to somewhat nondescript, and her eyes seemed to glaze over as if she wasn't paying any attention to her surroundings. Mitsuru was too focused on the screen to notice this change in her companion, and even if she wasn't, the low light of the theater would have made the change difficult to discern. Regardless, Minako had come under the physical control of the Shadow's mental manipulation; a proper time and place had presented itself, and so Minako would be subject to the manipulation's will until her objective had been fulfilled. After this, the physical control would go dormant once more, waiting for the next opportunity.
