The men depart, the women stay

Then Dick turns to you and asks you if you wanted to see his car. Having some interest in cars you agree. You both leave the partyroom and head upstairs to the garage, leaving the two girls behind drinking.

You both enter the garage and he shows you his Mercedes SLK. Yeah, nice car, hard-top, all the gliss one needs ... or not. You listen to Dick talk about his "baby" and how much work he spends for this car that it makes you wonder if he could still fuck his wife if he only had spended only a fraction of this time with his wife.

He rolls the car outside and starts the engine. Suddenly his phone rings and he answers it.

You listen to his conversation and realise that he is ordered back to his working place. He kills the phone and stares at you disappointed. "Sorry, buddy. Gotta go."

"Uh, too bad. Hadn´t mind taking a tour with your baby." You grin at him.

"Ha, next time buddy you can drive my baby. And if you like you can lend it sometimes to ride it."

"Yeah, that would be great." You smile and wonder, if you both were talking about the same baby. You think not. Then it turns silent. No sound is to be heared besides a gentle breeze. And this silent moment is suddenly interrupted by the ring of another phone, some distance away.

"Shit, this is my phone." you mutter, wondering who´s calling you.

Dick grins and says: "Well, I am not the only one with hard luck, huh, buddy?"

You shake hands for good-bye and walk over to your house. Lifting the phone you realise that it´s too late. But you see a message on your cel. Opening it you realise that it is from Anne. She tells you that she posseses an intercom she is currently using and that you may watch her via the PC.
