The math teacher

Kate felt a strong pang when she saw the math teacher enter the room. And she didn't seem to be in a good mood.

She arrived without saying a word, it being the "clap" of her heels that made everyone go to sit in their respective seats. The teacher left her purse and folder on the desk before standing in front of the entire class.

Everyone looked at her expectantly, waiting patiently for her to say what topic they would discuss that day. As she stared at them, with a serious, penetrating gaze.

Kate felt her insides churn and tighten more and more. Feeling an urgent urge to get up and run to the bathroom. Maybe it was the mere presence of that teacher that made her feel most to shit.
