The man in black is here, after all...

You and Ventus show your invites to the guards standing before the door to the party. They look at the invites carefully and step aside, allowing you to enter the party.

You have to admit, this party isn't too bad. It's very well lighted, and everyone is dressed up nice, with women in beautiful dresses and the men in nice suits. You wonder if you can find the man in black somewhere. Ventus is awed by the party as well and goes for some food.

You then spot the man in black. Somewhere near one of the corners that didn't have much light. You then walk up and ask him, "What do you want from me?"

The man in black looks directly at you, yet you can't seem to see any kind of face. "Well, well, I must congratulate on making it. I knew you would make it here. I hoped Axel helped you out somewhat. I'll see you back at the castle, you've got a lot more to do. Especially when it strikes midnight around here..." He then disappears in a shower of rose petals...

You then start to wonder what the man's message means when you suddenly bump into someone. You then try to figure out who you bumped into when you realize it's that same woman back from when you were off to see Cid. At a close glance, she looks dazzling in that glittering red dress and red-heeled slippers.

"I don't think we've met properly. I'm 'insert name here'. " you say, offering a handshake.

"Oh." she replies, smiling at you, then shaking your hand. "Aerith. Nice to meet such a handsome fellow." You can tell she is having quite a lot of fun.

Suddenly, some soft music fills the air. You then extend your arm, as if prompting her to dance with you. She complies, taking your hand and enjoying the dance with you. By the way she's dancing with you, you feel as if she had some drinks, with that smell of wine from her deep breaths. Judging by how close her body is towards yours, she is enjoying her time with you, perhaps even suggesting a little midnight fun. You then wonder what to do with a woman who seems to want you badly...

While you are talking to Aerith (before the dancing part), Ventus approaches a girl around his age, sitting on the floor, with her back towards the wall. She seems really bored with the party, as if she wants someone to talk to. He then sits next to her. "Interesting party, isn't it?" she asks, perhaps towards him.

"I guess, yeah," replies Ventus, now taking a closer look at her. For a girl his age, she looks pretty, with short hair, mesmerizing dark eyes, a pretty nice body and A-cup breasts, as well as a nice-looking ass. Her black dress fits her quite nicely. "I'm Ventus." he says, extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Yuffie." she answers, shaking your hand. She seems to be interested in Ventus, perhaps it's because she hasn't any one her age. Suddenly, as both Ventus and Yuffie ponder over what to say next, music fills the air (that same music you heard)

"Ooh, I like this tune. Dance with me, Ventus?" asks Yuffie. Ventus agrees and both of them dance slowly with the tempo of the music. As Ventus dances with this girl, he seems to have this feeling of love or something that hasn't taken over him since he first felt it whenever he was with Aqua. He isn't sure if that's normal for a person like him...

You notice Ventus dancing with another girl, and you seem quite surprised that Ventus is doing somewhat the same thing as you.

"You know, I feel as if I need to cool down a little bit. Do you mind?" asks Aerith. You agree, taking her hand and heading to the door that you walked in from not too long ago.

Meanwhile, Yuffie says to Ventus, "Don't you enjoy dancing?"

"Uh..., To be honest, this is my first time," replies Ventus, since it is true that he never learned dancing before. He then notices you and Aerith walking away, perhaps for some alone time.

"Oh? That's funny, since you are pretty good at it," remarks Yuffie. Perhaps she is somewhat turned on by Ventus and his personality.

Ventus seems interested in her behavior and suggests to Yuffie, "You know, why don't we go someplace quiet? This music is kinda giving me a headache." Yuffie agrees, to his surprise and they both head towards the exit that you just went out.

Writer's Note: Here, I will start separating certain parts of the story with Ventus's point of view and your point of view. Which one you will take is up to you.

I admit, the party scene is kinda bad, since I am not very good at storytelling and descriptions, but I hope it was all right.
