The mall

Juliette pulled into the mall parking lot and parked in a spot a bit far away from the entrance. “Okay, Alexa,” she said. “Come on.”

Alexa climbed out of the car and followed her mom inside. “So what are we going to do?” Alexa asked.

“Well, I figured we were going to go shopping, maybe for new clothes,” Juliette said. “But I guess it’s kind of up to you. I do want to look in Macy’s. We can either stick together and walk around together, or I can give you a credit card and you can wander on your own. We’ll meet back at the Food Court in about 2 hours. Whichever you want to do, I’m okay with.”
