The jellyfish

You really hope to be bought by the jellyfish. The canine and the cyborg were scary.

Of course, you hope to be bought by nobody, but you're hardly going to escape while you're still paralysed, so...

Time passes. The door is opened and the room fills with creatures of all shapes and sizes who, presumably, aren't rich or important enough to be brought in one by one by a robot escort. Several of them come to look at, touch and move you; at some point, your legs are straightened out to take your weight once more, and your mouth closed. Your room can't be the only room of merchandise, because people keep coming in and out, discussing potential purchases you can't see in multiple languages that you all miraculously understand. Only after they're all gone does the jellyfish return.

It saunters up to you and caresses one side of your face with a sinuous tentacle. "Mmmm... yes. You will make a good pet," it coos.
