I open my eyes slightly as I weakly move my head looking around trying to see where I am, I keep looking till I notice some medical machines I start thinking to myself "I'm in the hospital why what happened" not able to remember anything in the past few days, I look over to my right and see pat I open my mouth to say something but no words come out, I take a second and try again I softly mumble "wh- why am I here? Wha- what hap- happend?"
He glances at the door before back at me whispering in a stern voice"don't ask me Courtney I found you in a alley **** in a puddle if goo with cuts all over your thighs and a bruises on your throat and face"
I think hard but can remember anything as I look over into the window seeing a reflection my throat and face bruised and my lip busted pat gives me a kiss on the cheek "rest up Court we will talk later"
Before I know it I close my eyes and Instantly drift back to sleep
