What book did you find?
The history of Love, Aspect of change.
Something in you reverberated when you touch the book, it sounded like a tuning fork.
In the stories of Legends, sometimes when moments of Destiny arrived, and the hero chose right, they claimed they could hear in their soul
A resonance with the world, you wondered if this is what it felt like .
"Aspect of Love?" That alone had you curious no other gods had that aspect or at least you've not seen it.
In your final year you learn, theoretically, any aspect that a god conceptually encompassed could be worshiped.
Only the ones that returned useful amounts of power to the god through worship, or imbued powers on the mortal, ever made it beyond footnotes.
Opening the book you found what appeared to be damage from a fire and a stamp on the front cover you could barely make out that made your heart stop.
* Marked for Destruction, contraband *
That was the mark after a Great War, on all things related to a god that had lost all of its followers and land was conssumed by another Nation or God State.
You should by all rights turn this in for Destruction but just the first page gave you more hope than anything else had in years.
The language was unknown to you, but the pictures showed depictions of Heroes with the mark of this God's aspect, healing their allies and bringing wrath upon their enemies.
Even with the damage to the book and not being able to read the language, the few pictures continue to show that same theme, again and again, as you flip through it.
That alone has you sneak the book out and you run off to a glade you normally seek out when you need to think.
