The hard work pays off

It was quite difficult to swim lengths and get the male lifeguard?s attention. Especially with all these old people around. How could she concentrate and act flirty when she was surrounded by pensioners? Although, at least this meant that it was highly unlikely that focus would be taken away from her. Unless one of the old buggers managed to have a heart attack and drown! This thought gave Leanne more confidence and she began to exaggerate her movements to create more awareness and swim closer to the side where her target was.

After about 20 lengths of the pool, Leanne decided to stop for a breather at the shallow end. She had been going flat-out to try and impress the lifeguard, and with dodging all the slow moving old dears, she needed a bit of a rest. She looked up at the lifeguard to see if he had noticed her yet. He wasn?t even watching at her. He was busy focusing on some exceptionally slow pensioners approaching the deep end (completely the wrong direction).

Not to be out done, Leanne continued to stare at him for the next few minutes until he altered his gaze. Success! Eventually the lifeguard changed his focus to the shallow end and spotted Leanne looking back at him. (At least she thought he was looking at her.) Just to be sure, Leanne flashed him her best flirty smile. It seemed to work as well as she had hoped because he replied with a smile of his own in her direction.

?So far so good,? thought Leanne . ?Now I just need a chance to talk to him.? While she thought of what to do next Leanne decided to swim a few more lengths. She looked up at the lifeguard every time she passed him (not easy when you?re swimming), as well as when she reached each end. Occasionally she managed to time it right and he would be looking at her at the same time. And when he was, she gave him the same flirty smile and received one of her own back. It was going well up until now; she just had to move on to the next stage.
