The door behind Chihiro closed with a loud slam, and a telltale click that made her blood run cold. For one, she was able to quickly confirm her immediate fear; the exit had locked shut behind her.

For two, she was naked, and backed up against the wall with her arms and legs planted against the surface as if it would make her any less visible. Well, only in that the hall was presently empty.

Yet if she had her mental clock on point, that would not last much longer. She had two, maybe three minutes.

Chihiro's gaze frantically searched the empty hall. Sure, she wanted to know who had done this and why, but it wasn't really that important at the moment. What WAS crucial was deciding how she'd act.

She could run to find her teacher, the office wasn't far. Or she could try and hide. Both were a gamble.

Was any place really safe in her predicament? Either way, she could not just stand there she was. After taking a deep breath to brace herself, Chihiro pushed off the wall and...
