The gymnasium

The sight of students in PE uniforms quickly confirmed Yukari's current location as the roof of the gymnasium. Thankfully for the half-naked girl, it was highly unlikely that anybody would think to look up at the ceiling and see her, focused as they would be on the PE teacher's curriculum. Still, better to get out of the room quickly, Yukari reasoned, rather than risk exposure by simply standing there.

Yukari began walking down the catwalk a bit slower than she'd have liked. Running across metal flooring like this would be noisy, and any noise could attract unwanted attention to Yukari up on the catwalk. So, at a pace just below what might qualify as power-walking, Yukari followed her only path. Clear across the gymnasium, at the other end of the catwalk, was what appeared to be another maintenance door. While there was no telling where that door might lead her, it wasn't as if Yukari was in any position to be picky. Besides, it wasn't as if the door was going to lead Yukari in front of a huge crowd of people or anything, even with the way her luck was going.

Within a few meters of the door, Yukari suddenly froze in her tracks as the shrill sound of a whistle pierced through the room. Momentarily forgetting where she was, Yukari began looking around, frantically trying to find the source of the noise. Then, looking down, Yukari realized what must have happened; the PE teacher had simply whistled to get the class's attention. The whistle hadn't been to call out Yukari's hiding place, it was simply a normal part of the class. Clearly the situation was starting to take a toll on Yukari's nerves. The sooner she could get this whole debacle over with, the better.

However, the whistle had served to draw something else to Yukari's attention. Hanging just a few feet away from the catwalk was a Gekkoukan High flag! Just like most schools, a collection of flags hung from the ceiling: flags of the different schools in the region, the flag of Japan, and of course the flag of the school itself. While it might not be the most respectful thing in the world, Yukari just might be able to make use of the flag. After all, it was essentially a large sheet, and this was an **** situation. Of course, grabbing the flag would require leaning out over the catwalk railing, potentially exposing herself even more to anybody that thought to look up. Plus... well, losing her balance would be a bad thing in this situation. There were mats down on the gym floor, true, but she'd still be plummeting to the ground in front of her schoolmates in nothing but her panties. Maybe she should just forget about the flag and continue on through the door?
