The goth girls are a squad of four. There's Frankie, the leader, and the tallest of the bunch. Joey, the one who's really into skulls. Julie, the calm one, relatively speaking. She always wants to impress Frankie. School gossip says she has a crush. And then there's Susie, the odd one.
You approach their table but they don't seem to notice. They keep their heads down, muttering darkly.
"Hey, is it alright if I sit with you guys?"
Frankie looks up at you. Her eyes pierce into you like knives.
"What gave you that idea?"
"This." You toss your ID across the table.
Frankie snatches it and scans the contents. She lets out a low, menacing laugh.
"Damn, boy. You really wanna shack up with us?"
You sit down with them and nod. Julie asks Frankie what your card says. Susie has already grabbed your ID. She reads it, sets it down and rapidly scoots over to you.
"Hey, do you have a girlfriend? I could be your girlfriend."

"Susie, don't scare him off," says Joey. She reads your ID and pauses. "Oh. Oh shit. You're the guy."
Julie, still looking up at Frankie, asks her what that means.
"The guy," Frankie answers, still staring at you. "The one the school told us about."
"The one and only," you grumble.
