Chapter 204 by robyna
What was the surprise?
The geek was female... and hot
Rick was not unacquainted with nerd-porn. After all, he'd worked in high technology and medical technology all of his adult life and had been surrounded by nerds, of both sexes, throughout that career. And nerds are attracted to other nerds... except fantasy nerds. So, nerd-guys are fascinated by slightly nerdy-looking girls with glasses, great hair, big tits, and perfect figures. Nerd-girls seemed equally fascinated by perfect male bodies, again with glasses, sometimes wearing conservative clothing. Which made for a great porn genre since buying glasses for porn stars was cheap... and made the female actresses happy since nobody actually liked getting cum in her eyes and glasses worked as a sort of makeshift eye protection.
Which is to say that the McKinney police department computer geek could easily have moved to The Valley in Los Angeles and become a porn star. She had long dark hair parted in the middle, big hornrim glasses, braces, and a body that probably sent high-flying jets into steep dives to get a better look.
"I'm Marsha," she said when Officer Chuck led them down. "You Rick?"
Rick admitted he was.
"Okay. I'm going to need you for a couple of hours. The rest of you... get lost."
Nicki went off in a huff. "I need--"
"Look, wanna-be cop, I don't give a shit what you need. Unless you don't want to get this app working."
That shut Nicki up in a hurry. If there was one thing she did want, it was for Rick to get the app working.
"If you don't mind," Tiffany said, "I'd like to sit in and--"
"What part of me and the Rick guy only did you not understand. Do I have to send you a text or something?"
Detective Grunson murmured something about grabbing lunch and led the others out of the lab, leaving Rick alone with the hot geek.
"So, somebody finally melted the ice queen, huh?" Marsha demanded.
"I'm not sure what you mean."
"I mean Detective O'Sullivan, obviously. We had an office pool going on when she would finally get laid. I picked this month so looks like you won me close to a thousand. Thanks."
"I'm just not going to comment on that."
"Of course you know that every guy in the department gave her a run. I confess I did too, although I'm not really into girls. To win a thousand, and the envy of all the male jerks in the department, it wouldn't have been much of a sacrifice, though."
"So, about this app."
"Yeah, about that. I'm getting the feeling this isn't really police business. I'm not sure why I'm dropping real work to mess with some victim's phone."
"You think he's a victim, do you?"
"His wife was killed. His daughter was kidnapped. Sounds like a victim to me."
"That was his daughter you were just telling off. The one in the too-big police uniform."
"No way. The daughter was eighteen. She was maybe twelve."
"That's what the app is about."
"Seriously? An app can make you younger? Give me a break. If there was an app like that, it would be the most downloaded in the history of the internet."
"At a million dollars a pill, seven pills to a dose? That limits the market. Dan Hughes has that kind of money and he didn't get his daughter's consent before he dosed her. She wants to go back to herself."
"So she can bang you, huh?"
"You think it's better she bang her father? Because that's what the so-called dosing is about."
"I'm imagining doing it with my own dad and trying not to puke."
"Well, he's been grooming Nicki for a long time. Maybe your father isn't that sick."
Marsha rolled her eyes. "He's pretty sick all right. Okay, fine. So Dan Hughes is a pervert. His wife is still... You think he killed the wife to sleep with the daughter. That's such a Greek tragedy plotline."
"So, we need your help."
"Okay, fine. But if I help you, you've got to meet my price."
"Besides doing your job."
"Give me a break. First, the department can't fire me, I'm indispensable. Second, when you try to go after a billionaire like Dan Hughes, he's the one going to be laughing and your pet detective is going to be unemployed. It would be safer for me to just tell you to go blow."
Rick sighed. "What's your price."
"I already told you. I want to know what you've got that thawed the Ice Queen."
Does Rick show Marsha what he did to Tiffany?
